Queries:
A Query is a specific person, thing, or idea that enables data collection. Queries assists the platform when creating custom Anticipation Boards and providing recommended actions for a brand. Keep in mind that the competitors listed here will be used to populate moments for a user’s Quick- Add Competitor Board.
Influencers:

Social Causes:
Social causes responses are slightly different than other entities. For this query type, users should select from a pre-filled dropdown of causes for optimal results. If the cause you wish to add is not listed in the dropdown, users can enter the cause and add an additional description.

Best Practices:
-
Naming a Query: When selecting a name for a Query take note of people or organizations that may go by multiple names. For best results, make sure you add all names that may be listed. For example, Jennifer Lopez is often referred to as JLO, and the National Football League also goes by the NFL.
-
Adding a Wikipedia Link: When possible, include a Wikipedia link to help the platform disambiguate names that can apply to multiple events, organizations or people. For example; using “Pandora” as a query name could refer to the jewelry company, Avatar films, or music streaming service.
-
Query Relationships: When adding a query, select the relationship type that best describes how your brand feels about them. This will help the platform create Quick Add and Custom Boards for your brand. Query relationships include:
-
“…I want to associate with”
-
“… I want to monitor/gather intelligence on”
-
“… I want to avoid”
-
-
Example Questions To Ask Yourself:
-
What people/brands do I want to gather intelligence around?
-
What events are important to my brand, or are my campaigns targeting?
-
What person or organization does my customer care about?
-
